Crieff Bed and Breakfast accommodation Fine Dining Katy and David have worked for many years in the hospitality industry, and so you are assured of a well-cooked and well-served meal. David currently works two days a week as a chef at the world renowned Gleneagles Hotel.

Breakfast: You are offered a choice of a hearty cooked breakfast, cheese & ham, kippers or freshly made pancakes. Should you have any dietary considerations, or any particular preferences please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Home-made apple muesli and freshly prepared fruit are frequently on the menu. Katy makes all her own jams and marmalades, with some very unusual combinations at times! Fair trade coffee and tea are used.

Evening Meals: A gourmet evening meal is available with prior notice. The following are dishes that we prepare regularly:

Starters:
Avocado with Berry Vinaigrette
Grilled Tomato and Mozzarella Salad
Beetroot and Caraway Soup

Main Courses:
Chicken with Bacon, Banana & Almond Sauce
Sirloin Steak with Red Pepper and Stilton Butter
Scottish Salmon with Lime and Ginger

Served with fresh vegetables and potatoes from our garden (whenever possible)

Desserts:
Spicy Marshmallow Ice-cream
Fresh Fruit Pavlova
Hot Chocolate Fondue

A three-course dinner, with coffee or tea costs £15 per person.

As we do not have a drinks license, you are welcome to provide your own wine or beer to consume with your meal.

Packed Lunches for those setting off the the Scottish hills or out for a lazy picnic by a loch: We are happy to provide you with a packed lunch, which includes a filled roll or sandwich, crisps, chocolate biscuit, carton of juice and a piece of fresh fruit.

  

Other restaurants in Crieff & the nearby area: We have a good selection of restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance of Galvelmore House, to suit all tastes and appetites.

The Bank Restaurant is fine dining in an informal atmosphere, ex-Gleneagles chef
Both The Gallery and Café Bleu Med offer a bistro-type meal, with a wide choice of lunches and dinenrs.
Abbis restaurant is our local Indian restaurant, and the food is excellent.
The Crieff Hotel does great bar food, as does the Meadow Inn
In the outlying areas we have the Cultoquhey House and Hotel in Gilmerton and the Village Inn in Muthill.
There are also a fair few cafes and coffee shops within walking distance in Crieff.

Stirling, Bridge of Allan, Perth, Dunkeld, Auchterarder, Gleneagles, Crook of Devon, Balquiddah, Comrie and St. Fillans are all within a short drive and we can happily reccomend places to eat round and about Perthshire - Edinburgh and Glasgow are only a hour away where the choice of food and theatre and culture is huge.
