Bed and Breakfast accommodation Scotland

There are many delightful walks in the Crieff area, both short ones suitable for a quick 'amble' with or without children, and long ones that are ideal for the dedicated hill walker and climber.

Within Crieff, there is The Knock; Lady Mary's Walk, Laggan Hill, Loch Turret, Crieff Nature Trail and the Bennybeg Nature Trail. Comrie offers the Glen Lednock Circular Walk, which detours to a viewpoint and a waterfall, and the Ross. St Fillan's is the starting point for climbing Ben Vorlich. Other walks starting there are the Goat's Path and Glen Tarken.

More details of these walks are to be found in the Crieff Walks leaflet, the 'Local Walks around Comrie' leaflet, the 'Strathearn Herald West Perthshire Hill Guide' and 'Rambles in Crieff', all of which are available to 'borrow' from the guest's lounge. There are also local maps available for guest's use.

The Drovers' Tryst is a hill walking festival which takes place on the second week of October. It offers a wide variety of walks and other related activities. Katy is very much involved in this and can give you further information.
